Macro Photography

This image was created to illustrate the detail in a diode laser. The image was created with a Nikon 35mm camera with a bellows attachment for macro photography. The laser itself is seated on top of the block and is the size of a grain of salt. The dime was used to demonstrate the micro size of the diode laser. In the final assembly the laser is mounted into a small canister consisting of a lens to project the laser light and contact points to mount into a circuit board.
