I had the honor to photograph Captain Sully at an event for Mallinckrodt Pharmaceutical in Bedminster, NJ. I was only allowed three minutes at the beginning of his presentation to create all my photographs. Lucky for me Sully was a great speaker and provided several gestures so I was able to capture a few good photos. The lighting was very dark, and I had to stand in the back of the room. Thanks to my Nikon camera’s low noise high ISO, along with image stabilization technology the quality of the images worked well. I had the opportunity to chat with Sully during the hand shaking session following his prestation. He was very friendly. It was fun to photograph such a great American hero.
